Wake Park

Wake Park is one of those places that completely surprised us — and easily turned into a full day out with kids.

The main attraction is the ‘beach’, which honestly feels so unexpected in Siem Reap. There’s sand, water, and space to relax, play, and just hang out, which instantly makes it appealing for both kids and parents. Our kids were happy here straight away, just digging, paddling, and treating it like a proper beach day.

There’s a $5 entry fee per adult, but the really nice part is that this is taken straight off your bill if you order food or drinks, so it never feels like an extra cost.

For older kids (and adults), there’s the option to wakeboard for an extra fee, plus big inflatable obstacles on the water, also at an extra cost. These are perfect for kids who want something more adventurous and energetic.

Younger children are well catered for too. There’s a small playground, a trampoline, and a little mud kitchen, which kept our younger ones busy for ages.

The food is genuinely very good — we stayed long enough to eat both lunch and dinner, which says a lot. Being able to spend the whole day somewhere without needing to leave for food makes everything feel relaxed and easy.

Wake Park is ideal if you’re looking for a place where kids of different ages can all enjoy themselves, parents can relax, and the day naturally unfolds without rushing. Beach vibes, great food, and loads for kids to do — it’s one of those spots we’d happily return to again.
