ArtBox

ArtBox is a really fun, interactive spot in Siem Reap that works surprisingly well with kids — especially if they like being creative, curious, or just want a break from temples and markets.

Unlike a regular gallery, ArtBox is a 3D art space filled with colourful, optical-illusion murals and immersive scenes that you can step into, pose with, and explore. Kids absolutely love it because they can literally become part of the artwork — pretending to be guided into a tiger’s mouth, flying on a magic carpet, or stepping into wild jungle scenes. It feels playful rather than “museum-quiet”, which makes it much easier with children.

We think it works well for all ages because everyone gets to interact with the art rather than just look at it.

The whole place has a relaxed pace. You can wander through at your own speed, stop for silly photos, and jump from one scene to the next without feeling rushed. It’s a brilliant way to let kids burn a bit of creative energy and have fun together as a family.

ArtBox also makes for some great memories — the photos you take here are genuinely fun and different, and often become the ones you look back on months later because they capture how much the kids were enjoying themselves.

If you’re in Siem Reap with children and want a playful, interactive, and creative indoor activity that’s a break from temple touring or shopping, ArtBox is a really cool stop — colourful, engaging, and genuinely fun for the whole family.
