Khraft
Khraft is one of those places we’re always glad exists when you’ve got creative kids (or you’re trying to encourage a bit of screen-free time). They have two locations in Phnom Penh, which makes it easy to fit into different parts of the city.
At its core, Khraft is a brilliant place to buy craft supplies — paints, paper, tools, and all sorts of creative bits that kids immediately want to get their hands on. Even just browsing can feel like an activity in itself, with so many colours and materials to look at.
What makes Khraft extra special for families, though, is the open studio space. You can actually pay to come in and make things, rather than just buying supplies to take home. It’s such a nice option if you want a ready-made activity where everything’s set up for you and kids can just get stuck in.
They also host regular events, which is great if you’re looking for something a bit more structured — workshops, themed sessions, or creative meet-ups that give kids (and adults) a chance to try something new. It feels very community-focused and welcoming.
Khraft is ideal if you’re looking to balance physical play with something calmer and creative. Whether you’re popping in for supplies, booking time in the studio, or joining one of their events, it’s a lovely, hands-on option for families who enjoy making things together.
