Eleven One Kitchen
Eleven One Kitchen is one of those places we keep coming back to because it just makes eating out with kids feel… doable. Nothing fancy, no pressure, just a relaxed space where families actually fit in.
From the moment you walk in, it feels calm and unpretentious, with plenty of room and a pace that works when you’ve got little ones in tow. One of the biggest wins for us is that they have highchairs, understandable maybe — but such a big deal when you’re trying to eat a meal without juggling a toddler on your knee.
The menu is broad, which always helps when you’re eating as a family. There’s enough choice to keep adults happy, while still having options that aren’t too complicated for kids. It’s the kind of place where everyone can find something.
And then there’s the dessert. Their salted caramel brownie deserves a special mention — it’s so good, and usually the non-negotiable end to our meal. Rich, chocolatey, and very much worth saving room for (or ordering anyway and dealing with the consequences later).
What we love most is that Eleven One Kitchen doesn’t feel like it’s “trying” to be family-friendly — it just is. The staff are genuinely used to kids being around (to the point they’ll even hold your baby while you eat), the atmosphere stays relaxed even when it’s busy, and you never feel like you’re inconveniencing anyone by being there with children.
Whether it’s a midday break from sightseeing or an early evening meal before bedtime routines kick in, Eleven One Kitchen is one of those dependable spots we’re always happy to recommend to other families.
