Happy Resort

Happy Resort is one of those places that feels genuinely easy and comfortable for families — the kind of stay where everyone actually sleeps well.

One of the biggest wins for us is the family interconnecting room. Having that extra space, while still being close to the kids, makes such a difference when travelling as a family. It feels practical without feeling cramped, and gives everyone room to relax properly.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially towards children. From the moment you arrive, it feels relaxed and personal rather than hotel-formal, which instantly puts both parents and kids at ease.

There’s a bar and restaurant on site, which is really handy after a day out exploring temples or town. Being able to eat or grab a drink without heading back out with tired kids is a big plus, and the whole setup feels very low-stress.

The pool is spotlessly clean and has a shallow area for kids, making it perfect for cooling off during the day. It’s ideal for relaxed pool time rather than chaotic splashing, and feels safe and calm for younger children.

Location-wise, it’s a great balance. Happy Resort is close enough to places like Pub Street to make getting around easy, but far enough away from the noise that nights are quiet. That peaceful setting makes a huge difference when you’ve got little ones who need a good night’s sleep.

If you’re visiting Siem Reap with kids and want somewhere family-friendly, calm, and comfortable — with great staff, a good pool, and a location that works for parents and children — Happy Resort is a really solid choice.
