Garden City Water Park

Garden City Water Park is a brilliant option if you’re looking for a proper water day out with kids in Phnom Penh.

This is one of those places where children are excited the moment they walk in. There’s a great mix of slides, splash areas, and pools, so it works well for different ages — from younger kids who just want to paddle and splash, to older ones who are ready for bigger, faster slides. Everyone can find something they enjoy, which makes it a lot easier as a family outing.

We like that it feels spacious rather than cramped. Kids can move between areas, try different slides, and really burn off energy. Our kids have even been known to take a nap on a sun lounger then going again once awake (giving us parents some chill time!).

Because it’s outdoors, it’s best enjoyed on a day when you’re happy to commit to water play — swimwear, towels, sun cream, the lot — but once you’re there, it feels worth the effort. It’s especially good if you’re looking to break up the routine or do something that feels like a mini holiday without leaving the city.

If you don’t drive we recommend hiring a driver for the day to wait for you as there are not many grab drivers around the area.
