Babel Guesthouse
Babel Guesthouse is one of those places that feels genuinely designed with families in mind — especially when it comes to the restaurant and kids’ space.
You can stay there, but just to be clear — we’ve only eaten there, not stayed overnight. Our experience has been purely from the restaurant and daytime setup, and that alone has made it somewhere we’d happily recommend to families.
They have a proper kids’ menu, which instantly makes meals easier. You’re not trying to piece something together from adult dishes — there are straightforward options designed for little ones, which takes so much pressure off.
What really makes Babel stand out is the dedicated play space. There are lovely wooden toys and small play areas. Kids can quietly play nearby while you eat, which makes it one of those rare places where you might actually finish your meal while it’s still warm.
Another big plus is that you can pay to use their pool for the day, even if you’re not staying there. That makes it a great option for a half-day outing — lunch, play, swim, repeat. It’s relaxed, manageable, and works brilliantly in the heat.
Babel feels calm and welcoming, and clearly understands what families need — good food, space for kids to play, and a setup that doesn’t feel stressful.
If you’re in Siem Reap and want a family-friendly restaurant with proper play areas and optional pool access, Babel is a really solid choice.
